Cedar Privacy Fences in North Texas
Compare board-on-board, side-by-side, and horizontal wood fence options for your Denton County or DFW property.
Board-on-board or side-by-side?
Board-on-board fencing overlaps adjacent boards to reduce direct sightlines through the fence. Side-by-side places boards next to each other for a simpler layout; natural wood movement can change the gaps over time. Tell us how much privacy you need and whether both sides of the fence will be visible.
Horizontal styles, height, and finishing
Horizontal layouts create a different visual rhythm from vertical boards. Post spacing, framing, board dimensions, and the site layout need to be considered together. Cap and trim, stain, gate details, and removal of an existing fence affect the scope and budget.
Before replacing a wood fence
Identify the proposed fence line, grade changes, utility constraints, access for crews, and any HOA requirements. Online aerial measurements estimate horizontal footage; they do not identify property boundaries. Final measurements and requirements are reviewed before a proposal.
